My friends would probably say that I am a very "special person" - I am fun to hang out with, have lots of crazy moments but can also have deep conversations and try to give the best advice when possible. I like being social and meet interesting people, but I also enjoy time for myself. I like to say that I am very independent, although after 5 years of living abroad, I do miss home and I might even have to admit that settling down for a while would not be a bad option at all...just where!?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment, I am not able to host any surfers :(
However, starting this summer, I am a very happy couch surfer myself :)
Since I only started this year, I couldn't get a lot of experience, but I truly and fully enjoyed my time with my French hosts!! It is astonishing, how friendly and open people are, exemplary!
I love interesting conversations with people of all kinds, as long as they are..well, interesting. Traveling is another passion, experiencing culture, nature and the everyday adventures in changing environments. Other than that, I like arts and photography and movies and books that trigger the mind. I am mesmorised by lights, city lights, artsy laser pointers (whatever their name...), fireworks - you name it!
Music, Movies, and Books
All kinds of music - according to feel and time of the day. I am not a music pro but I couldn't live without music. I currently listen to Coldplay, Cold War Kids, Elbow, Florence and the Machine, Mumford and Sons, and keep-me-awake-while-cruising-through-Oz-songs
I enjoy reading to learn, books that teach about lives and stay in your memory for a long time - A thousand splendid suns, Infidel, The solitude of prime numbers, ...
Same with movies - I like to learn and be challenged, think about the "messages"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My recent trip through Thailand was quite an adventure, especially the Khao Sok National Park. Sleeping with thousands of ants, showering with a Tarantula, having an after-dinner walk with a scorpion, and much, much more made this trip at least a book of anecdotes!

I try to give as much back as I can.
