ABOUT ME

I can not sit still! I love running, skiing, biking. My awsome fellow and I do 'purist' backpacking and mountaineering. This is a new recent skill for me. he is the 'pro' We have learned ice climbing also. We live 'in' the mountains and very close to Jasper, Alberta. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend had a French/Canadian from Edmonton Alberta come to Grande Cache and he was really nice! he hosts a radio show there. My fellow is also French so it was arranged that my guy Chris did an interview about his climbing on air!

My latest CS experience was when Chris and I met young amazing helpful people in Petropavlosk, Kamchatka in 2013. We did a 800km bike and 17 day backpack to Klyuchuskya volcano!

Amazing adventures that I see pictures of in magazines. I want to stand where the photographer stood and take the same pictures! I spend my free time running with my friends, or snowshoeing. My fellow and I do lots of little adventures around our area. There is more mountains for him to take me to. He has been up many of them.

I did my first mountain summit in BC Canada in 2011 Chris got me up to a summit of 12,000 ft! it was amazing but scary for me to decend. It was a long day but it all went well.

My next amazing adventure was with my guy in Kamchatka, Russia. We did a one month bicycle trip and then a three week backpack to Klyuchuskya volcano! This was in 2013. Lots of tears being SO far fro home but it was wonderful!

I can share some great history of our area and Jasper AB. I have also been learning of many travel ideas from my friend who has done volunteer work in South America and House sitting in the Galapagos.
