About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore strange new worlds...and to learn as much about everything that I possibly can.

ABOUT ME

I'm quiet until you get to know me. Organized and efficient, loves animals and learning new things. Have a taste for anything vintage or unusual.

PHILOSOPHY

At the moment I have no idea what I want to do with my life. I've decided to travel around as much as I can, and hope that in the process, I can find something I love to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm going to be traveling Europe all summer, but when I get back I hope to host as well, in order to meet cool people.

Interests

Languages. Any kind, and want to be a translator someday. I write and blog, review books, and am currently working on a novel. I fence sabre, kayak in northern New York, volunteer at bookstores, and work at an ice cream parlour. I'm a geek at heart; trekkie, browncoat (or anything Whedon) and anything futuristic is part of my daily life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books books books, any kind. Love to discuss them too. Fiction mostly.

I run a book blog, and write reviews on books I love (and occasionally hate) so that's very fun.

I have recently taken a Rock and Roll music history class, and now I'm trying to listen to every single song from the 30's to the 90's. My new favorites are Jimi Hendrix and The Doors, and I shall never tire of hearing The Beatles rock the house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I saw the Colosseum for the first time, and the second, it just wowed me. Walking around Paris and looking at bookshops and cafes...could totally live there forever. The house of Parliament in Budapest, Hungary; still can't comprehend it's hugeness.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very interested in the subject of education. I have a very unique education growing up, so sharing opinions on education and learning with new people, would be lovely.

I practice yoga and fence. Also very into nutrition.
