ABOUT ME

I am a fun loving girl, who likes to explore and learn new things. I am a poet always searching for new inspiration and something to write about. I love to dress up to go out and I love live music. I am a very caring person who tries to put other people's needs before my own. While I love going out I am also a home-body, and I am more than happy spending the day inside reading or hanging out with friends. I can be quiet and shy when people first meet me but I open but very quickly.

Interests

I love traveling, first and foremost. I like to keep life exciting and moving with fun activities such; as going to see live bluegrass music, poetry slams/readings, riding my horse, writing poetry, and hiking. I am currently learning how to play the banjo but mostly focusing on my writing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favorite moments was when I was backpacking through Morocco in December of 2011 and I took a small excursion into the desert with a camel caravan. I woke up at dawn, got on the camels and got to watch the sunrise in the middle of the desert. Watching the sand change color on the back of a camel really made my day :)

Another moment that really changed my life was the six months that I lived in Istanbul. It was such an amazing city and by the time I left I could negotiate most of the city with ease and even speak a fair amount of Turkish. The whole city left me awestruck and I felt even more lucky being able to wake up day after day in such a beautiful and diverse place.
