About Me

A lover of adventure, extreme sports, wine, bacon, animals, books, music (especially jazz, blues and soul), travel, mountains, trekking, height, etc.

Backpacker since the age of 18, I have traveled in 35 countries including the country where I live. Daddy of a beautiful 6 year old princess named Camillie and father of a pug dog Johnny. Navy 17-year veteran and special operations veteran. Nowadays I work in the part of security consultancy for the government, so I have more time for my little girl (and to travel also hahaha of course). I have 2 brothers, a girl and a boy, and I have a beautiful 2 year old nephew Giovanni that I adore. And good, we live only 3 (I, camillie and Johnny) and we will be happy to receive and be able to help other backpacking friends.

I have a degree in Computer Science and Administration, I have a postgraduate degree in Administration and a degree in Nautical Science. 2017 I intend to enter Gastronomy and study more about medical plants (I am fascinated).

It may seem strange, but I love cooking. It was a hobby I encountered and a method of getting away from the instant noodles hahaha. In addition, with all the trips I was able to go acquiring a little practice and learning about the local culinary. So my friend, you want to stay in my house know beforehand: you're going to be my guinea pig hahaha just kidding, my daughter likes to be the taster of the house.
I'm in love with wine and tasting them, I have a small personal cellar at home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, first of all I'm not a serial killer. I intend to travel on my vacation in the period of June / July 2017 and with all the high cost of living nowadays I decided for the first time to ask a couch to a friend, and thus to make a trip that is relatively cheaper. A mattress or a sofa, or even a sheet under one roof, is enough for me. I still have not decided my trip completely, my options are a tour of south america, or a trip to Asia (Thailand and Bali).

Why are you planning a trip in almost a year? And why ask for a couch for almost 1 year of traveling? Well, first I'm not retarded haha I think that's safer, I do not know how it works for people but I'd like to get to know the place first and the people I'm going to get along with, it's a way to feel safe. Likewise offering my house to anyone who wants to stay and giving confidence of who I am so that they feel safe too.

And, well, should I close this text remembering that I'm not a serial killer? Aushauahsa I will be very happy if there is a friend who can offer me a corner in his house.
