Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined CS when I was in college, and hosted a few times and then forgot all about it. Last year I was in India solo for two months and met a lot of interesting people who were surfers and hadn't paid for lodging at all. I was inspired to revisit my profile and try to meet some folks before I take off again. I'm headed to Mexico sometime at the end of the summer and I'd like to see Oaxaca, Tulum, Sayulita, Paleque, and Puerto Escondido. I'd also love to meet anyone who is heading in the same direction around August.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hiked to an alpine lake in Glacier National Park that is only accessible a few months out of the year to swim in the absolutely freezing water. I've WWOOFed at a beautiful music retreat in Oregon and helped create a fantastic herb garden. I've lived in New Orleans and experienced the madness of Jazz Fest. I've backpacked solo around India for two months.
