ABOUT ME

All about me? Well, thats a long crazy complicated story filled with swimming, salsa dancing, scuba diving, karate, languages, jumping out of perfectly good airplanes, trying not to crash land them, sailing, trying to survive crazy ordeals, betrayal, true love, compassion, honesty, joyful laughter. If I could write a book about my life.. an adventure and a half indeed :)

PHILOSOPHY

Attempt to be the best human being I can be for others. Help them out in any way I can. Whoops! I was going to say something too honest here... lets just say I wear my heart on my sleeve, though now I'm more grounded now, and less is worn on sleeve and more is held in reserve.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time as a couch surfer on this site, but not the first time I've brought home people to my house in Edmonton Alberta Canada, and gave them a place to crash: helping out people is something I truly feel good about, so I do try to go out of my way when I can.

Interests

I love learning languages (French, German, Spanish, a spattering of English), and I'd like to work on Mandarin and Japanese next. I love to swim (less gurgling, more laps!), play beach volleyball (lets play pepper!), travel (ha! yeah I *know* you know!), play piano (music is my first love), sing (sometimes even with others), and in general love to hang out with people and friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh so many movies I love: from The Usual Suspects, to Lord of the Rings, Shawshank, Green Mile, Band of Brothers, to Anime: Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Machine, to TV: Lie To Me (totally my favorite show, I do hope there's another season... I think it was so truthful they got in trouble from You Know Who (owns something to do with a body part (face) and something you read).

R Scott Bakker: Warrior Prophet
Patrick Rothfuss Wise Mans Fear: this series is absolutely amazing... couldn't put the first book down
Ender's Game, Orson Scott Card (yes yes I know for the connoisseurs out there, this seems like stating to a Christian you should look in the Bible for advice)
Bio of a space tyrant (piers anthony *before* he started writing for teenagers)
