Hi! I'm a full-time student taking advantage of an opportunity to do some traveling until I start working again. I'm a pretty laid-back and easy going person, who enjoys adventure and traveling. Until now, I've only traveled the US, but now I'm transitioning to travel abroad. I enjoy living life, and part of what that means to me, is going new places, doing new things and meeting new people. I have a lot of different interests, and some of my hobbies throughout my life thus far, have included martial arts, music (guitar and piano), dance (latin), camping, hiking, rafting, skydiving, snowboarding, ceramics and art (charcoals, pastels and watercolor). I enjoy good beer, good conversations and good times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm initially started up this account, because I'll be traveling to Switzerland this October, and may need a place to stay for a few days during my visit. However, there are still some places I'd like to go to in the states, such as AK, HI and WY (to see the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park). If a fellow CSer can help me out with a few days lodging, I'd like to make that happen.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different music (rock, blues, soul, electronic, punk, classical, dubstep etc.) What music I prefer, depends on what I'm doing at the time. If I'm snowboarding, I listen to dubstep and punk. If I'm hiking, it's rock and blues. It just depends.
I don't have a favorite movie, but I like comedies, documentaries and movies that make you think. If I don't feel better after watching it, or learn something from it, then I probably don't watch it.
My favorite book is "The Giver", by Lois Lowry. I read it as a kid, and it's still my favorite. It's about a futuristic dystopian society that trades living-emotions and memories for pills and order- and a kid that makes his way out of it.
