About Me

I am an old guy trying to figure out what I will do when I grow up

Until recently I lived in the flat cold bit in the middle of Canada. Acutally I think Saskatchewan is a great province and far more people should take the time to do more that drive fast on the transcanada highway.

Spent most of my life in British Columbia and recently moved back here.

Just Dance!!! Now if I could just keep a beat!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Happy to share information with people about things. I know the country well and work in museums and providing tourist information.

During my travels I have stayed with people and met individuals and groups through CS. Been great!

Music: XTC,sub humans, DOA,Clash,Bob Marley, Little Miss Higgins, MIA, the Specials, UB40, Siouxie and the Banshees; Dire Straits, mother mother, arcade fire, etc;

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flenched a Killer Whale! One died on a beach near the museum in Prince Rupert that I worked at. As luck would have it, there was a marine mammal expert visiting the area from the Smithsonian, so we ended up doing an autopsy and removing all the bones for and exhibit. Lots of vicks vapour rub up the nose to keep the smell at bay! As for removing the bones, well I will save that to tell you in person!

Teach, Learn, Share

Good knowledge of Canadian History, Aboriginal people of the west coast of the country. Canada's involvement with the world. I can share knowledge of brewing and cider.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Jamaica, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States
