Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So far I've been pretty tied to my home (Boston) and I figure if I'm going to start traveling more I'm gonna need to meet more people! Couchsurfing seems like a great way to accomplish both goals at once.
Reading, hiking, tea drinking and cooking!
Music, Movies, and Books
I am a huge fantasy nerd and I write and read comic books. I am so excited that there is so much good TV these days, I think there's no better format for long storytelling. I'll listen to just about anything, and if someone happens to be a bluegrass fan we'll be friends for life :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of my favorite memories is the night after I moved into my last apartment in Chinatown in San Francisco, my roommates and I went to the local dive bar which was right next to a Hostel and there was a huge contingency of British visitors there that night. We ended up on our new roof at 3 in the morning drinking tea and talking; it was one of the most spontaneous and fantastic nights I can remember.
Teach, Learn, Share
Cooking, music appreciation (I go to several concerts a week!), grown-up fort building (I have a thousand pillows and blankets for maximum cozying.) I want to learn to be more spontaneous, and brush up on my French! Sharing experiences and perspectives is one of the best ways to grow, I think.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Whatever I have! I work until 6 most days, but I'm available to suggest places to go near my home in Cambridge, including our amazing museums and sights, and of course the best next concert!
