ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old Belgian student that lives with her Swedish boyfriend in a student apartment that has some flaws but is enjoyable enough to live in!

I love languages and all the theoretical and practical aspects that have to do with it :) I particularly love the Swedish language, so I can definitely teach you some if you want! Also, I am a native speaker of Flemish and know quite a bit about the unusual position of the language in Belgium. So if you're interested in that part of belgian culture, then I can definitely teach you a bit about that as well :)

I have studied Swedish literature and linguistics (but I'm mostly interested in the linguistics part) and am currently taking a teacher training course two nights a week. During the day I am taking some separate management courses. Next year I hope to take on 'advanced studies of multilingual language acquisition' and after that we'll see where life takes me :)

I signed up for couch surfing mostly because I feel like I am missing out on so many possibilities to meet people from other cultures, speaking other languages, having interesting personalities and different views on life. I feel like I need to loosen up a bit, see the world from different angles and live life more. So if you think you can teach me something about living life and seeing the world, then don't hesitate to contact and enlighten me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 17, I contacted a random highschool in Sweden and pretended to be ill in my own highschool only to take a flight to Stockholm to participate in highschool there for three days
I wish I could be as impulsive more often
