About Me

CURRENT MISSION

meeting new people in Beijing

ABOUT ME

Number two in a four girls family, I developed an easy going personality.
I want a lot and have high expectations but can also be happy with simple things ( typing this with a soft warm cat sitting on my lap for instance)
I enjoy the company of people to do any kind of activities such as walking in the streets of a city, visiting parks or temples, going to the cinema, attending a concert or simply have a drink and talk about life and projects.

PHILOSOPHY

I'd rather have a minute of wonderful time than a lifetime of nothing special (Oscar Wilde)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Living for the moment at a friend's, I'm looking for a room to rent in a flat, not too far from the Hutong (my school -Art&drama school of beijing is located in Nanluoguxiang).

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love French cinema but it won't probably sound familiar to most people here in Beijing...so I can mention the last english speaking film I saw (two days ago) which actually made me laugh : The invention of lying by and with Ricky Gervais.
About music, I love world & Kleizmer music (I used to play accordion but I quit because I was too much work), I love french music (Brassens, Souchon) and I guess I like also things like Damian Rice, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Vanessa Da mata, René Aubry, Gogol Bordello

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I decided to leave everything to start a new life in Beijing without even knowing Chinese... Thinking about it, it's even more crazy than sleeping in a forest with wolves in Canada or walking on unattended mummies in Nazca desert, or even than deciding to dye my hair in blue quite a few year s ago. It was kind of cute though!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you latin, I did it a few years ago, but I might have forgotten a lot about the Punic Wars! I can help you to improve your french and teach you how to make great crepes. My couscous is also amazing but I am not sure I know where to find in Beijing the crucial ingredient to prepare it : Razelhanout! And a couscous without razelhanout is not a cheerful couscous!
