After many years of being on the road, I realized that it is the people that kept me moving. So, I hope I can meet other people along the way, who knows the city and the people.

I never felt more alive while being on the road. I have done many road trips with my friends and my sister in the U.S. Me and my friends in undergrad once drove across the country (from Pennsylvania to Arizona).

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

My all-time favorite film is Agnes Varda's Cleo de 5 a 7. I also love Jacques Demy's colorful musicals. One movie that I secretly admire is West Beirut (1998).
The best book that I have ever read is Jhumpa Lahiri's The Namesake.
When I grew up, I had a guilty pleasure which is reading YA fictions. I have read the Hunger Games trilogy, all four books of the Twilight series, and all Harry Potter books. Last year, I taught a class on Film Adaptation and Harry Potter was one of my selections.
I listen to all kinds of music and you will find my playlist a mixture of different genres, from metal with Avenged Sevenfold and Slipknot, to contemporary pop such as The Chainsmokers or Alvaro Soler, and even political hip-hop such as Loco Locass.

I know a lot about film studies, so I can offer some knowledge on that subject. I can give you some suggestions, especially with international cinema.

I'm an average cook but I can make 2 or more Vietnamese meals.
