Hi there,

we Marco (30) and Lena (29) decided to travel the world with our bicycles.
This idea came to us in December 2016 when we sat on the sofa in cold, rainy weather and realized that the monotonous everyday life, with its work and obligations, restricted and exhausted us in our quality of life. Even the cool climate here sits so deeply in our bones that we are solidly frozen … where is the sun?

So how do we imagine our lives?

Where do we want to go?

What do we want to learn and experience?

The answers we have found to our questions show that there is probably only one way:

get up, go out, live.

We want to carry out varied, meaningful and sustainable work. We want to see how something emerges that we have created on our own. Something that has a benefit for us and others. We want to travel, because always living in the same spot becomes too monotonous. When we travel, we have the opportunity to meet you and support you with our energy and creativity.

At the same time, we are broadening our horizon in terms of culture, nature and autonomous lifestyle. In addition, on our bikes we can really get out and enjoy nature, wind and weather to the fullest. The conscious handling of nature is a great concern for us.

We eat healthy food and want to learn how to grow and process our own vegetabels. On our cycling tour, we are mainly responsible for permaculture and organic farms. Our route takes us from Germany across the Alps along the Adriatic coast to Greece, Turkey …. continue towards India. There we will spend a longer time and then travel to Thailand … The route has not yet been determined, we look where the wind carries us.

Who are we, if we are not sitting on our bicycles and driving through world history?
So we are interested in nature that was already mentioned. Above all, Marco is a passionate and good cook, who makes great dishes from the most diverse ingredients. Lena is the hard-working snare aid and ensures that in the end there is no crumbs left from the food.

Together, we like to wander through forests and fields in search of berries and mushrooms, we enjoy nature and also like to take pictures. During her studies, Lena has learned a lot about plants and wants to gather more knowledge above all on edible plants and medicinal herbs. Permaculture is a subject that has mainly occupied Marco for a long time, so we complement ourselves perfectly in our knowledge and our curiosity.

Both of us are artists with body and soul. While Marco produces music on his computer, Lena paints, writes poems and stories, or transforms a piece of wood into a small piece of art. Both of us like to dance to Marcos music, doing yoga in the silence of nature or … well, we just cycle.
