One Amazing Thing I've Done

swam with two friends from the isola of stromboli to the isola di strombolicchio through the mediterranean sea but panicked when nearly there, because of a shark and went all the way back. turned out there are no sharks in that area- only dolphins. missed a great opportunity to swim with dolphins. was still fun and very exciting though.

walked all the way around the uluru. 9km, 45 degrees in the blazing sun, packed with massive waterbootles. so exhausting, but so amazing! definite recommendation to everyone who is travelling down under.

survived three days in a host family on zanzibar/tanzania (with neither toilet nor running water), without being able to have a proper conversation due to extreme language barriers. crash course sign language i guess. impressive, really great & special time.
