I love experiencing new things, the outdoors and the indoors. I like sport and telling stories. I love walking around different places, getting lost and discovering things in an unplanned way. I'm always looking for a nice local coffee shop or bar to hang out in.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Am going on a capital city trip from Paris to Iceland in March/April and thought it might be a nice way to meet people, have fun and share the experience.

Interests

Most things but especially travelling around, being outdoors and meeting people. Of course I also like Rugby. Can't help it. It's in my NZ blood. I like the camaraderie and sportsmanship.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list. Recently reading through Steven Kings huge body of work. I have always been a music nut and still buy records when I can get what I want. During my upcoming trip to Europe I am planning to go to a gig each day for 31 days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was lost at sea for two days off the west coast of New Zealand while sailing to Fiji. Our yacht got smashed by a Tsunami wave. My right arm was snapped in half and all my ribs were broken. We lost everything on the yacht. We were spotted floating in the Pacific Ocean by a passing ship and rescued by helicopter.
