cultural exchange - only for free, but please read carefully this profile !
HOW AND WHEN SEND ME A REQUEST:
to have more informations and to know how to send the best couchrequest read http://i.trail.it/CS (if you use the mobile application you may have to type it manually in browser), on that site there is the CALENDAR
where are listed the days when I am available to host and many additional informations.
ALWAYS include your EMAIL ADDRESS (and the ones of ALL the other people travelling with you) and one ☎ VALID AND ACTIVE PHONE number in the request, ⚑ otherwise requests will not be answered and set directly to 'declined'. A phone number is a global number that can be called by any phone on public network (to be explicit: a whatsapp number is NOT valid !); it is, in general, the number of your phone under GSM connection. If you do not have a working phone read in the calendar which are the dates when you may arrive.
2016-01-23: If you send a request more than 5 week in advance my first reply will always be a "no", even if you have already given all the necessary informations and I plan to host you: just ignore that one; I will reply via email and once all will have been arranged, 5 week before arrival you may send a new request that will be immediately accepted. This procedure is necessary since CS does not allow more than a tiny number of pending requests, and in my city this number is reached in a few hours. normally I will reply via email or, if last minute, by calling your phone. Gmail and a few others us provider often mark as spam email replies to CS posts, so please look carefully in the spam box.
Of course You MAY also send directly requests by personal email (that you can find in the above linked page), of course providing the CS link to your profile and this is the way that will assure you the promptlier reply (but remember to send also an official couchrequest if you want to have a starred reference).
I can travel alone and in a party;
hosting in family, and hosting when alone.
I welcome people that want to know and share new places, new culture, new food and new people.
I live in technology and communication but believe that an human touch is necessary.
Always ready for some excursion outside my town.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hospitality is part of culture. When you go in someone house you are going to get the inner part of the local culture.
Be ready to offer your culture, but also to accept local one.
When i was married, we mostly traveled together.
I like technology and industrial archeology,
she didn't: she preferred art exibitions.
But we were together for taking you to walking or cycling excursions.
