About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live to express, not impress

ABOUT ME

You should probably read the references first!

But in my own opinion im a funny friendly guy. I tend to adapt quickly to the mood of my couchsurfers and take on similar characteristics so if you are fun and crazy so will I be.

I am forever fascinated and like talking about different upbringings and also world views.

Im not your typical person and like to stay open minded and question my own belief systems - Matrix style.

I'm chilled and adventurous, I leave room in my life for spontaneity and I'm happy go lucky :)

I have a problem solver character, I can give you creative advise if you want.

I love listening to people that speak from the heart.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe there is always a choice and we must assume some if not all responsibility for what happens to us in life. Otherwise you will end up as a victim here.

Dont take life too seriously, as noone is getting out alive.

Learn the rules well so you can break them properly.

Stay aware and focused on developing the self for a richer knowledge and appreciation for life. Find meaning in the smallest detail, while keeping perspective.

Keep smiling - fake it till you make it!

Be yourself, because those that mind dont matter, and those that matter dont mind.

Ill stop now :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

You can join me on a bike ride to some of the most beautiful places on earth!

My place is nice and central so we can take advantage of all Town has to offer. The City Gardens is across the street and long street is also close by.

Meet some of my friends and come along to some parties if they happen any when you're here.

Give advice on what to see other than Cape Town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is a part of my life and have been enriched and lucky to meet and know so many people from different parts of the world.

Couchsurfers are generally easy going and open minded.

People that visit Cape Town are usually happy people that are adventurous enough to travel here from far away. I like this :)

Interests

Motorbikes, Beaches, Tennis, Camping, Hiking, walking, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Volleyball, snowboarding, reading.

Live music, weekend festivals out in the nature, dancing and a bit of Karaoke - if im drunk enough.

The mystery of the unknown. Fantasy. Adventure.

Music, Movies & Books

Movies - the Matrix Trilogy, Lord of the Rings(all of them and extended version), Star Wars (the older ones...) comedies like Old School or Zoolander are brilliant, also the Waterboy deserves mention-Music - all kinds, Rock/alternative is my favourite but at the moment very fond of reggae, deep house, electronic and dubstep. A special treat for me are remixes of old classics with a fat baseline.Books/authors - Enders Game, Dune, Carlos Castaneda,11 minutes. Eckart Toll ¨power of now¨, Dr Dyer ¨real magic¨.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Travelled with one of my best friends along the ¨Garden Route¨ on the east coast of South Africa.

Travelled to the Finnish Lapland's to see the Northern lights! :)

Had an ego-death :)
