About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see and share the world one couch at a time while having a positive, supportive and generous attitude.

ABOUT ME

Love seeing new places and interesting things.

PHILOSOPHY

I decided a long time ago that I wanted to be a positive and enthusiastic force. I try to see what is going on in the world without ethnocentric, nationalistic, or partisan close minded bigotry.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the CS Project but 100% committed to the idea of being a part of something that can help people from all over the world travel and experience different cultures or people from different regions of my own country, see things they may have never seen. This rocks!!!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My couch experiences are limited to staying with friends in other parts of the US and when in Europe renting peoples apartments and sharing meals etc. with them. I did so in Copenhagen and in Prague.

Interests

Motorcycle Riding, SCUBA diving, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Drinking Coffee, Laughter, intelligent discourse . . . and much more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Charlie Rose Interviews, “How-To” books on building things and skills like riding motorcycles etc. I like the Blues, Rock, Classical Guitar and much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have stood on top of a mountain, alone and miles away from the nearest road or fellow human, with 60 mile an hour winds blasting me as the clouds above my head went pased like a speeding train, in freezing temperatures. The wind howl and flapping of my hood made my ears ring.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have over 20 years of experience as a skilled trades-person and contractor. I am really good at renovating houses. In addition to 7 years of college I have read hundreds of books and have over 250 hours of training in personal and business development coaching. Show me how to cook a pie and I will show you how to properly paint a wall :-) or think of something to ask me and let's just talk for a while.

What I Can Share with Hosts

30 years of life, learning, humor, passion and I will do the dishes :-)
