About Me
Hi, my name is Leonie :)
1996 I was born in Karlsruhe, a medium-sized city at the West border of Germany. I grew up in a busy household with my mum, my dad, my younger brother and our pets (two cats, fish, hamster, lemming, rabbits (all at different times though)). :D
2015, with my A levels under my belt, I moved to England to work there as an AuPair. Three months in Manchester, looking after three young ladies and seven months in a town near London where I found my second family consisting of 5 wonderful people. I looked after my autistic hostbrother and helped in the household where ever I could :)
After finishing my gap year I moved back to Germany to start studying fine arts in Dresden.
Travelling is something I really enjoy. Until now that I started couchsurfing I always used Airbnb (which has kind of similar a concept as couchsurfing) to find good accommodations.
I met so many amazing people who gave me a cosy place to stay and who shared their way of living with me.
In return I treated their home and privacy with respect!
I describe myself as a loyal, kind, crazy, tidy and enquiring character :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Teach, Learn, Share
As an adolescence I was an active member of the German lifesaver organisation DLRG. Here I learned a lot about first aid, how to swim and how to teach swimming.
Today, as a minijob beside my studies, I hold first aid courses.
After I was able to speak English fluently I wanted to have the same experience again so I started to teach myself how to speak Spanish. I got very good books and also started a tandem-relationship with a friends friend from Venezuela. :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer support in the household, spending time with kids, looking after pets and being a good company :)
