I'm a 19 years old dutchie (from Holland) and I just finished highschool. Next year I will start with the study 'European languages and cultures' and I will focuss on Spanish. I'm in love with cultures, people and trying new things. I made this account for my 3 weeks trip around Europe, I am visiting Switserland, Italy, France, Spain and Belgium. My goal is to meet people and see things and just experience traveling more.
I've been to Argentina for a year, a highschool/exchange year, however you want to call it. This was a super amazing year where I learned alot about myself, people, cultures and traveling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've heard so much about the spirit shared between people on this platform, so much opennes, curiosity and fun. It sounds like a good way to travel and meet people, I'm very excited about meeting people during my travels.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to music and playing music. But I am a bit mainstream (too lazy maybe) in what i listen to. I like Ed Sheeran, Sia, Adele and I can enjoy Bob Marley a lot.
I'm in love with every Disney movie but Intouchable was also a movie that touched my heart.
And for books.. I think I'll stick with good old Harry Potter. Although I was also moved by The Bookthief.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Argentina for a whole year. Alone. Without family. Living in a host family, going to school and such. During this year I made several trips, one was to a city near Buenos Aires. The most memorable moment this year was when I went for a ride with horses over the beach of this city. It was just so beautiful and I forgot everything I ever worried about, we were just in the moment and enjoying it.
