About Me

To love, explore, sing, drink, and be merry. And it's always best to do those with good company!

I am trying to see all that I can see and meet as many people as possible. I like to party all night, staying up to burn the midnight oil; youth is great, but I try to keep my lighter away from igniting sheer nihilism.

I spend a lot of time reading, watching films, playing guitar, and cooking decent food. Otherwise, I'm trying to find myself some work.

I think true bliss exists, but I think it can destroy those not ready for it-- i'm still searching and preparing. I believe in positivity. All you need is love! Nobody knows you exist until you make an appearance. Capitalism will eat the world alive. I love nature.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After realizing the benefits (and awesomeness) of meeting someone while crashing on their couch, I did a bit of surfing myself. Now, I want to give back to the community and offer my couch!

Oh man, I've had a few. I'd say my favorite one was in Lyon, France. A great guy hosted me and a friend, gave us keys to his place, pointed out a few hotspots, and even met up with us for a drink. Right on.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading: Fitzgerald, Joseph Heller, and Hemingway.

Always Listening: Stereolab, Coheed and Cambria, Bob Marley, John Coltrane, Radiohead, Mars Volta, Led Zeppelin, Smashing Pumpkins, Santana.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Thus far, living alone in France is the most amazing thing i've done. New York City is pretty incredible as well. I'm a bit flabbergasted at the sheer potential of the big city.

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied film, photography, and art history -- so i love dissecting anything thusly related. I can play the guitar, so I could play somebody a song or 2 or 3 or 6...maybe teach a few things, or just jam.
