soaking up everything that´s possible, live to the fullest and forget about safety and money, we are all in a surviving camp now
i just came back from switzerland, i lived and worked there for 2 months. it taught me an important lesson: it doesn't matter where you live - you can find the same kind of person in every possible place in this world. and even if you don't speak the same language, communication is always possible.
grow. learn. find yourself. lose yourself. explore the world. see the world in yourself. find yourself. die.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
a friend of mine is in the cs-community since a few years. he surfed many couches all over the world and gave his couch to people from all over the world. I am a very curious and open-hearted person that never forgets that life is short. as long as i don't have children and HAVE to become serious and find a well paid job etc., i want to see as much as possible and grow as a person.
i never surfed a couch, but i hope it will change this year!
philosophy (as long as you don't think about it, you think it's not important, but when you start it, you explore that it is the essence of human life); literature (a movie in your mind dude!), music (i know it is stupid to say "i listen to every kind of music as long as it is good music", but the times of only-rock or only-punk are over, beethoven can touch me as good as ac/dc does),
art (my profession is artist, but i paint and draw more for my personal pleasure than for money), communication and discussions (talk people and stop just moving your mouth, repeating what stupid television tells you!), nature and everything that has an interesting smell, taste, structure or form, doesn't matter how small or in the first moment ugly it may be/seem.
Music, Movies, and Books
look at my myspace site, i´m too lazy to write it all again...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
the stars in scuol in switzerland. it was full moon and i went home from my job as a waitress at 3 o clock in the morning or so. it was extremely cold as usual (-20°C) and the snow on the mountains shined in a glowing light-blue. it was a magic night and it brought me nearer to myself. i had no contact to my family and friends for almost 2 months. i cried a lot because i was lonely and my terrible female boss told me everyday that she hated me (unbelievable but true). but after that night i didn't bother anymore, i learned that you can live by yourself and also be happy if you really love yourself (although we all know that the human species is very social and needs others, but to be able to be happy alone is an important thing everyone should discover)
Teach, Learn, Share
have you ever explored your whole body with your fingers? do it and you will not only learn more about your own physic, you will get to know your inner self. it is almost like touching your soul when you touch yourself and really get aware of the fact that this is a mortal body, a body you will have for the rest of your life. every cut you make will last till the end, it may get smaller, stop bleeding, vanish some day, but a scar remains, seen or not.
