ABOUT ME

Gardening, Sewing, Reading, Going to CME's (continuing medical education classes) taught by local docs, and now COUCH SURFING!! I love to have adventures... and now will be heading to Canada with a new friend and fellow adjunct! I definitely have been a more traditional stay-in-one-place kind of person, but still love the get-away of vacation time. Am really looking forward to a trip to Canada via couch surfing!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a gift, and as for the mystery of it all, that's just what it is... a mystery. I am excited for the future, but happiest living in the present moment and grateful for all that I have, especially good health and a good mind.

I would love to meet people and bring them around to the local sites! We have so much rich history here, and great dining! Give me lots of notice because I do have a busy life, but if I know you want to travel near here, I will find a way to fit you in!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving in St. Thomas Virgin Island... conquering the fear of wearing scuba gear and actually enjoying the underwater world! WOW!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I became an EMT so that I would "know the lingo" of my students when I teach them anatomy and physiology before they head off to paramedic school. I have learned a great deal by attending CME's. It's very practical information!
