About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see Europe, on 2 wheels! There is no better way to travel.

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Lewis, 19, from Cambridge in England. I am currently on my gap year and after saving all my pennies I am finally fulfilling my dream of conquering Europe on a motorbike. 8000 miles, 13 countries, 3 months. During this time I would love to meet local people and see how they love. I would also love to show them how I live.

When I am not fixing or riding motorbikes, I love going out with my friends, meeting new people, listening to music and playing guitar.

PHILOSOPHY

Be spontaneous. Life is short, if you want to do something, just do it! Go out, have fun and try to enjoy everything you do. People are the most important thing in your life- you should look after the people you know and strive to get to know new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

On my adventure on the motorbike over the next 3 months, I hope someone would be kind enough to let me use their couch! I hope I can show them a little about how we live in England, as well as them showing me their life. Anyone who can put me up is 100% welcome to come and stay on my couch when I return. I would love to make new friends in new parts of the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None! However, I am very relaxed, open minded and easy to get on with.

Books- The pianist, Stephen King, The Game

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever done, which I really can't compare to anything is the 13000 ft skydive I did on my birthday this April. Falling through the air is the most euphoric thing imaginable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach- Guitar, English, How to fix a motorbike.

I want to learn anything anybody can show me. There are no limits. I especially want to learn about various cultures through Europe, which I guess means going out and having fun!
