ABOUT ME

I'm Lexi. I'm 19 years old and in my second year at University. I'm currently studying International Business and Journalism with a minor in Art at Richmond University in London. I'm also working towards becoming a yoga instructor. I love yoga and hope to someday open my own studio and design a line of yoga apparel. I love traveling and I am excited to see and experience different places!

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is to enjoy life as much as possible and experience and learn as much as possible. I like to make the most of every day and every opportunity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I live in the dorms, so I can't host, but next year I'm planning on getting an apartment and can't wait to host surfers! For the moment though, I want to couch surf as much as possible to meet new people and explore new cities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just got back from a trip to Scotland with my friends. We couch surfed in Aberdeen and it was an amazing experience!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and going to concerts and would like to go to more! Some of my favorite bands are (just naming a few) The Black Keys, Matt and Kim, Envy on the Coast, Bon Iver, The White Stripes, Pheonix, The Spill Canvas, The Postal Service and many others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've traveled all over the United States since childhood. I've been to the majority of the states and have had great experiences. Some of the most memorable include paddle boarding in Hawaii on Christmas Day, taking a helicopter to a glacier in Alaska, and spending my summers in the mountains of Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado. I've also visited Victoria, Canada and San Miguel, Mexico, though I was pretty young at the time. Recently, I took a roadtrip across England and Scotland and got to see the beautiful countryside. My friend and I climbed Ben Nevis which was an amazing experience.
