About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To do my best
ABOUT ME
I graduated from university in 2008 and after a few months of saving I went on an around the world trip in November 2009. During that trip I visited 20 countries in three continents. Since then I returned to the UK and started work in the charity fundraising travel industry. I have a passion for mountaineering and adventure travel and my happy place is in the mountains. I travel abroad 3-5 times a year and visit local national parks and areas of natural beauty around once a month.
PHILOSOPHY
My dad always said to me, "to thine own self be true" and I have always stuck to that.

Interests
I love the outdoors, whether walking, hiking, climbing or mountaineering. There's nothing like the peace and beauty of nature. I love to cook for others and try new recipes. I eat a ketogenic diet for health and I like experimenting with food which fits my lifestyle. I don't smoke (and really dislike it), I rarely drink alcohol (when I do it's a nice glass of wine) but love good conversation, movies, and relaxing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have an eclectic taste in music which varies depending on my mood. My go-to genre, if I had to pick one to listen to forever, would be rock (and all its variations!).
For movies and TV I'm a fan of mystery, medical and police dramas. I like thrillers, foreign films, chick flicks, some comedies (dark humour and satire mostly) and documentaries. I hate horror and am not interested in sci-fi or sport topics.
I don't read as much as I used to but if you find me with a book it's most likely to be something by Paolo Coelho or similar authors. I enjoy books that make you think. Like movies, I also enjoy a good mystery or thriller.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've climbed three of the Seven Summits (highest peaks on each continent).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook a variety of meals and I really enjoy it. I love baking, particularly experimenting with sugar free baking.
I can also share my knowledge of over 50 countries and give advice on trip planning.
