About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To wake up every morning with a sense of wonder.

ABOUT ME

I will be traveling for a month through Italy, Croatia, and Greece and I hope to find some temporary work in Spain and brush up on my Spanish. I plan on going back to school to get my MA in comparative literature within the next couple of years, but in the meantime I want to see as much of the world as possible. I doubt I will ever settle in one place for longer than a year. I have lived in South Korea and have backpacked in Southeast Asia for 6 months. Music, art, and movies are vital to me. I love to feel inspired and hope in my small way to inspire.

PHILOSOPHY

"Since we cannot change reality, let us change the eyes that see reality."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can't wait to lend out my couch once I get settled.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I can't say that I have couchsurfed with anyone that I haven't known before, but I'm all for giving it a try. The only couchsurfing I've done so far is at a friend's place after a night out.

Interests

Reading, reading, reading, oh, and traveling. I'm trying to branch out a little and learn guitar. I love good food, good wine, and good friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Angkor Wat and it was simply breath-taking.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Teachers are those who use themselves as bridges, over which they invite their students to cross; then having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create bridges of their own."

I would love to learn how to make cheese. Just throwing that out there.
