About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying, but mostly failing, to answer life's "big" questions
ABOUT ME
To start with, I'm terrible at describing myself, so I apologize in advance...
I love to travel, I find people fascinating, I enjoy getting thrown out of my comfort zone.
I am open to all opinions, though I do strongly believe in my own. I am brutally honest, so if you prefer life sugar coated, I'm not your girl.
I love finding the silver lining and laughing about life's ridiculousness. That is what makes it wonderful. Along with my honesty, my sense of humor can be dark and sarcastic at times, but I am in no way gothic/depressive/nasty.

PHILOSOPHY
I have a very scientific approach to everything, so my general "philosophy on life" is that I don't really like philosophy...
I'm not going to question our "existence" as humans or what purpose we serve. We breathe oxygen, which allows our brains to function, which in turn tells the rest of our body to function. We can serve any purpose we want. The beautiful thing a life is you can do what you want or do want with it. Be proud of your accomplishments, surround yourself with people and things you love, and fix your flaws, it's actually quite simple.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Super green to the land of couch surfing, but as I enjoy traveling and am unafraid of the unknown, I would like to dive right into the whole thing!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have done a myriad of bizarre things in my life, and found myself in many a strange and unfamiliar circumstance, however to this day I have yet to surf any couches...

Music, Movies, and Books
I work in the entertainment industry, so I give all movies and music a fighting chance.
Same goes for books, though I'm really not into poetry, (why can't they just write proper sentences??)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am forever searching for that amazing moment.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love teaching, I have taught personal growth work shops to young women in the Gambia, swimming to kids ages 3 to 12, social reconstruction to Croats and Serbs after the war, and currently English to French high school students.
On a far less resume-like note, I love food, cooking, and wine and I am always looking for the chance to learn more about them and share the knowledge I already have.
Countries I’ve Visited
Croatia, Germany, Mexico, Senegal, Switzerland
Countries I’ve Lived In
Democratic Republic of Congo, France
