About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I just want to run around.
ABOUT ME
If I could fly away, I would. I guess that could mean I am in a constant state of leaving or walking toward you. I have learned that so much in life is about perspective. I laugh about a lot, and I am deeply serious. I think a lot, and I love to practice not thinking at all. I have strong opinions, but I am more inclined to enjoy listening to yours. I have lived around the world and have a practice of giving others perspectives a fine look before imparting my own. I am fluent in Spanish and speak a bit of this and that from Danish to French.
PHILOSOPHY
I would not exchange the laughter in my heart for the fortune of the multitudes, and I would feel no satisfaction if the tears shed in the agony of my being were transformed into relief. My most fervent hope is that my entire life spent on this earth would consist of laughter and tears. -Kahlil Gibran
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope to participate by seeing the sights, drinking a coffee, a beer, and/or listening to any good, live music in the area.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
This is my first time couch surfing! wooh! I lived in a Bed & Breakfast for a number of years, and, at the same time, worked at a resort for nearly four years. I know how to host and entertain, and I am excited to be hosted and entertained myself :) :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen some of the best aerialists in the world at Anamaya Resort and very possibly the best fire dancer. I met a hooper from Quebec, to close my eyes, I can still see her spinning and tapping her slippered feet. I met a little old man for maybe fifteen minutes on the cobbled streets of Spain who, out of nowhere, shared my pain by telling me a heartbreaking story of his. At midnight, I walked into my hostel room, turned on the light, and met a doctor from Tanzania with the biggest smile and even bigger laugh. He kept me laughing until 5am and nearly made me miss my flight home that morning. I have met survivors from war zones that were only 12-years-old who could explain their pasts as if from a story and still play childish games with me and help me with my Spanish and only giggle a little bit at my mistakes. I ran out of money in Paris and convinced the Moroccan hostel owner to play cards with me until my bus left the next morning at 4am.
