Hi everyone!

I'm a mostly-fledged speech pathologist, or, to most, a speech therapist. I love language, the way people speak, and I've studied three foreign languages--all romance, but I'm looking to start on Japanese or Korean soon.

I've hiked on the Appalachian Trail, I've done western Europe solo, and I'm always looking for new adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Right now I'm planning a road trip to the west coast, with a plan to work for a while to save money once I get there. I hope to meet up some cool people along the way, maybe sleep on a few couches, but meeting up for a chat would be great too.

I'm happy to cook or bake for you! Despite having a profile for so long, I haven't done much real couchsurfing, so I'm not sure what's typical. I guess I'll find out?
