I am an outgoing, positive Australian traveler interested in listening and learning from others and finding the beauty of a country through the people.I have lived in Myanmar for 3 years and am now travelling to Iran and Central Asia . Meeting new people is just as fun as seeing new places so looking forward to couch surfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting people -- particularly young people who might introduce me to the city and talk about world views. Some things they are proud of in their culture, books they like, favourite food spots, podcasts, or music. I'm open to it all!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music from rock, salsa to charts, anything that I can dance to.
Movies-just saw some great burmese films on poets under the previous military regime which ignited my love of international films, aswell as chickflicks and action!
Books-Just read 'The other hand' really interesting to read a moral dilemma in a different country. This is what I love about reading. Silk Roads is also another of my favourites as I'm learning about the Stans, Mongolia and Iran.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I went scuba diving for the first time in Cuba i was amazed at how alive the underwater world was full of fish and coral. I also will never forget the first time I saw Guernica, by Pablo Picasso in Madrid, what an overwhelming painting!
