ABOUT ME

My name is Lien, I currently live in Belgium and study law, my final year. I'll be graduating in June 2014, and leave Belgium in Sep 2014 to travel with my boyfriend for about 10 months. We'll visit Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Can't wait to meet new people, see amazing, breath-taking places and do crazy things... the countdown finally has begun!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last summer we visited Budapest, Hungary. We stayed with a nice old lady who could barely speak English (her son, who didn't live with her anymore, arranged it). But what an experience! We could only understand each other with body language so we didn't really talked much, but every morning she stood by our room with coffee. And that's exactly what's so great about CS. People all over the world, complete strangers, who are willing to provide you a roof, and if you're lucky, let them in into their lives and show the world they're living in.
