About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Aspiring to be positively human
PHILOSOPHY
I have to admit, I am a bit all over the place at times. I can be melancholy about the world at times, then radical about making change the next. It all depends. I do know; however, that I am one lucky SOB for having all the opportunities, support and love I have. I have not figured out a personal philosophy that i can fit into a snappy sentence yet... maybe one day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My limited experience with couchsurfing has been particularly wonderful. I can not imagine travelling any other way now! As much as hostels are fun, couch surfing is a much more human experience. I tend to be a one-on-one kind of person. I am always interested in seeing the way other people live and love their cities! I am headed to Berlin soon, for my second visit and hope to meet a lot of true Berliners. I am very excited!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have met with a few people for coffees, icecream, bike rides and festivals. I have never had a bad experience. Though to be honest, I have never actually slept on any couches! I hope to change that this year. I am a polite, honest and courteous guest- and I would be incredibly grateful for the opportunity.

Music, Movies, and Books
nine inch nails, florence and the machine, 1984, mother mother, invisible monsters... thats what Ive read and listened to in the last week anyway!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn, especially when it comes to art and culture. Even just the differences in living day to day in a difference culture from my own is fascinating to me. I am not sure all I have to teach, but I am sure I will think of something on the spot... maybe I will have to learn a parlor trick.
(A little caveat)
I enjoy the company of like minded people.
While I appreciate that everyone has a right to have their opinions, I am vehemently anti-oppression and believe in diversity and equality. I have met many people in my time who hold the antithetical viewpoint and while I am always down for a good debate and know that they to can be good people... It still hurts my soul a little to listen to anyone spout hatred, stereotypes and misinformation. So I guess what I am saying is, If you are a bigot, stay away!
