I am travelling with my partner throughout Europe from June 2017 to August 2017. We are social introverts/ambiverts. We love small group conversations over a drink, board games, taking our time to visit sites. I love visiting museums, writing letters, doing some casual reading outside on a sunny day. My partner is less interested in museums but is very much a foodie. We both are looking to explore new cities - I want to walk every single street in your city!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting locals, making new friends and seeing life from the eyes of another person. I want to explore different cities and places while also getting the local insider's perspective on where the best coffee shops are, whaat the best food is, where locals typically hang and what they do.
Sports: Tennis, cycling, hiking.
Travelling: Sightseeing, visiting market places, learning how people live in different parts of the world.
Love learning about the environment - I am big on waste reduction and I try to live zero waste! I do small things one step at a time to reduce my impact on the environment. For example, I learned to make my own toothpaste, and body butter. Finally, I bike almost everywhere I go!
I appreciate learning about new cultures, people, and places.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: innovation in techonology, enconomics, environment, global issues (as long as it's not too scientific).
Films: Marvel, Hunger Games, dystopian films
Music: Vance Joy, Imagine Dragons, American Authors, anything that puts you in a good mood!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I haven't done much yet - I am looking to embark on some cool adventures. I would love to cycle somewhere in Europe.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach - As a recruiting assistant, I am pretty good at reviewing English papers, and helping anyone who may be looking to apply for a job in Canada or the United States write a cover letter and resume (CV).
I'm not an expert on how to live zero waste but I may know more than the average person. I would love to share tips on how to reduce waste.
I am always curious about different cultures, and how things are made. I am looking to improve my french and learn some portuguese. I love learning about the environment as well.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I offer my friendship, kindness, and I make some pretty healthy and delicious cookies which I would be happy to bake and share my recipe. Also if you ever make your way to Vancouver, drop me a note and depending on where I will be living, I would love to accomodate you too!
