About Me

CURRENT MISSION

getting over my naeivity to think I could change the world and at the same time still trying to cling to it!

ABOUT ME

so difficult to describe yourself effectively in a few sentences 'cause you're often misunderstood and put into certain boxes (german saying...), but hey, that's something to say about me, I always try to see every person as a special individual. so I guess I am an open-minded, adventurous, responsible and just nice person.

PHILOSOPHY

I think I haven't really found the "sense of life" so I am looking for it and meanwhile try to live as effectively (overcoming challenges, do my duties and still have fun) as possible. oh, and I really watch out for the environment, saving energy etc...

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed some couches (and hosted someone, though Münster seems not to be the most interesting town for travellers) and always loved it, not to be a common tourist, but see places and people how they really are in daily-life. Right now we are planning our three-months backpacking trip to "the Americas" and the cs-groups are also a really helpful thing...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's a inspiring chance to get to know as many interesting people all around the world! Until now all my CS experiences (travelling and hosting) were great!

Interests

reading, jogging, biking, listening and making music (I play the clarinet & the piano), horseriding, sleeping and eating(only sometimes;-)) and of course TRAVELLING!! love animals and nature in general, trekking through allemannsrätt-scandinavia is great!!

One Amazing Thing I've Done

In summer 2006 I did a workcamp in Peru with children who usually work or have major problems in their daily life and meeting them and just being in that wonderful but poor country was eyeopening. it's a difference reading things in a book or seeing them with your own eyes!

Teach, Learn, Share

Unless you don't want to learn dancing the waltz or something about law theory, I am afraid I am not the best teacher, but I can probably spread an alternative image of the germans (maybe by cooking some Pfannekuchen for you?)... Always love to learn new languages even if it's only few words
