Studying, partying, getting a part-time job, travelling more =D
Hi! My name is Lien, or you can call me Lily, whichever way you prefer :) I'm originally from Hanoi, Vietnam, and is now studying my bachelor degree in Economics in Aalto University, Helsinki, Finland. Generally I'm a quite talkative and cheerful person. However I'm also quite spontaneous, and so sometimes I enjoy being on my own and having quiet evenings. I used to play piano and violin, and also a few years dancing a variety of style =D I like all sort of music and all colours. I like travelling, love debating, reading, playing viola and meeting new people xD I'm all about doing challenging things, and things that I'm afraid of. The feeling when you overcome your fear is just wonderful.
I live because I think life is so beautiful.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
One of my close friends introduced me to Couch Surfing when I told him about my plan to travel to the Baltic countries in December 2011. It sounded just so interesting that I decided to join immediately =D
All very positive so far x)
Playing viola, reading, debating, travelling, music, swimming, partying, dancing, and a zillion of other things I tried, is trying and would like to try.
Music, Movies, and Books
All sort of music. I like a lot of movies, but my favourite of all time is Edward Scissorhands, and my favourite director is Tim Burton, naturally :)I read a lot, but for new books, I tend to go for fantasy genre, Harry Potter type.(not Twilight though) However classics are always on the top of the list, and my favourite authors are Dostoievski, Konstantin Paustovsky and Guy de Maupassant.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I remember one particular day when I went to Helsinki-Vantaa airport to see a friend off, and it was around 5-6pm. The sun was going down, and the colours of the sky were just so beautiful.
My first rave party in Finland, the Colors Festival 2011. It was awesome x)
The first time I saw it snowing outside the window in Lahti.
