About Me

"Imagination is more important than knowledge". "There are two ways to live your life - one is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is a miracle." Both by Albert Einstein.
I love to travel, meet new people, explore & be in nature, experience new cultures, try new cuisine, & learn/attempt to speak in the language of the country I'm visiting. I prefer to travel off the beaten path, invite serendipity to play in my days and be open to whatever happens next. I live in a state of appreciation, gratitude, kindness, love and respect.
I'm passionate about art, music, dance, nature & spending time with curious, conscious, grateful people with a positive outlook on life. I'm an active, joyful woman! I also enjoy swimming, yoga, bike riding, reading, hiking, scuba diving & discovering ways of being & living life to the fullest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've traveled using Airbnb for about 2 years. I love the premise to meet local people while visiting a new place or just passing through. I just found out about Couch Surfing which is even more in alignment with my values & adventurous spirit.
I find it exciting to share the area where I live & meet new interesting people who are curious, open minded, generous of heart and grateful. I so look forward to a long relationship with this group of explorers! As soon as I saw there was a local group of couch surfers meeting on an ongoing basis I was thrilled and attended a potluck confirming this is a magical way to travel & live. One can't be apart of this group without being open, curious and living in appreciation, how awesome!

Interests

Dance! 5Rhythms, Soul Motion, music. I love to live on the edge of what might seem impossible & create new, wild ideas and share them into reality. I enjoy taking photographs, having meaningful "real" conversations, creating art, appreciating it, gardening, aerial arts, cycling, hiking, snorkeling, exploring, eating delicious food, belly laughing, & being with my 2 children (19 & 21).

Music, Movies, and Books

I love most music, except heavy metal. Finding & hearing new music is an absolute joy to me!
The Peaceful warrior, Gandhi, Miracle on 34th st, Peter Pan with Mary Martin, Harold & Maude come to mind. I LOVE movies and enjoy all that are offered on the Spiritual Cinema Circle.
I wish I could read faster so I could read the hundreds of books in my house!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped off a 35 foot waterfall in Costa Rica which changed my life. Before that the highest I jumped into water was maybe 4 feet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love life coaching, exploring ones motivations & understanding ourselves more fully. I facilitate movement classes based on my wide background & enthusiasm for moving. I'm happy to share whatever I've just read to whatever I'm currently exploring & cultivating. I love to cook and am happy to cook meals while staying with you or at my home and share whatever I know, hopefully together we can experiment & create something new!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook and am happy to cook meals while at your home and am an extremely thoughtful clean guest. Happy to help you in your garden or whatever needs organizing or cleaning:)
I have a beautiful home, I'm outgoing easy to connect with & genuinely interested in helping you have a great stay. I do expect one to clean up after themselves and agree to be honest, respectful, kind, interested in the philosophy of couch surfing, and willing to share something about your life and travels - I love to listen & hear about your passions, dreams & interests.
