Looking out at the Pacific Ocean from the cliffs overtop of Wreck Beach in British Columbia, surviving a norovirus outbreak at a hotel in Victoria BC (it turned out to be an unexpected bonding experience with my friends that months later, we can now laugh about), every day at my job as a reporter

While I've studied English literature, I have learned a wide (and random) variety of things through my work. At the very least, I can teach you about my corner of Canada and Canadian news media.
