About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Having a gap year in middle age - spiritual studies, cultural immersion, volunteering around the world.
ABOUT ME
I am a joyful person that tries to live my life mindfully. I am curious and love to learn in a way that is fun. Travel lights up my soul.
I've been lucky enough to journey to some amazing places and make wonderful new friends.
When the dust settles from my travels down the road I look forward to hosting couch surfers.
PHILOSOPHY
I choose to live joyfully, think laughter is the best sound in the world and am grateful it is a universal language. I believe more binds us together than sets us apart, no matter the miles between our original homes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm a good story-teller and listener. I like to cook and love sharing in kitchen prep and clean-up. I travel very light and try to make a small imprint.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm a newbie. I got turned onto this option through my son, and see it as a perfect way to become part of a community as I travel, learning about a place through new friends who live there.
Interests
I practice yoga, meditate in motion and stillness, and am a life-long learner. I am scuba diving and snorkeling everywhere I can while traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Night diving with giant manta rays in Hawaii was a mystical experience. I was humbled standing before the mountains of Alaska, sleeping beneath a heaven of stars in Canada, feeling the stillness of the uninhabited plains of Mongolia, and gliding above a leopard shark in Thailand.
