Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to travel and get a taste for the local culture. Instead of staying at a hotel and only skimming the surface--meeting locals and getting a real feel for a place is what I'm after. Also, traveling on a budget makes for great adventures!

I'll eat almost anything (I'm a non-strict vegetarian). Love going to concerts, shows, festivals, anything musical--of almost all genres. Have been known to get funky at more than a few hoedowns. Books are friends :)
