We are an easy going Scottish couple who are setting off on our travels around Central America and Canada in 2018 (moving to Canada on a 2 year work visa... so excited!!!)

We love meeting new people, trying new food, learning about new cultures and languages and generally having a great time! We are also coffee, craft beer and crossfit enthusiasts!! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are moving to Canada on a 2 year work visa in May 2018! Travelling through Cuba and Central America for a month before hand, wanting to meet local people to get a better idea of the area and a real feel for the countries we stay in!

We love music and constantly have Spotify on in the house and in the car! We listen to everything from alternative indie music, country music, RnB, soul and rock! We love Ben Howard, Bob Marley, Bon Iver, Jimi Hendrix, Frank Ocean, Childish Gambino... the list goes on!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lindsay - Have volunteered in 6 different countries, from the slums of India, a leatherback sea turtle hatchery in Costa Rica to living with the Masai tribes of Kenya - I absolutely love volunteering and travelling!

Michael - Served in the British Royal Marines, visiting so many amazing countries and meeting people from all over the world!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We are food fanatics so can share some yummy recipes with you :)

Lindsay can help you with some Spanish lessons and Michael is a jack of all trades - he went from Hairdresser to royal marine to firefighter so he can help you with your perm or get your cat out of a tree!!

We have so many great travel tales from our previous travels - Lindsay also works in travel so has some great trips for how to travel, where to go and what to do!

Mikey is also a crossfit coach and personal trainer so he can help to whip you into shape (or you can watch from the sidelines with a beer... with Lindsay!!)
