Overview
About Me
I grew up just south of Boston, Massachusetts, and aside from one semester in Ecuador, I lived in and around Boston up until the end of 2015 when I moved to the mountains of Colorado. I work in the fulfilling field of renewable energy, and I spend as much time as possible outside.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a life-long traveler, and Couchsurfing is a great resource.
Interests
Climbing and bouldering, hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, running, mountains, anything outdoors, traveling, music, singing (to myself, often really loudly in the car), baking (and eating, especially dessert, haha), ping pong, games and puzzles (ha, yeah, I'm kind of a dork), animals, nature, science, etc.
Oh, and let's not forget sarcasm.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably the most "exciting" thing I've done was thru-hiking 955 miles of the Appalachian Trail. (Unfortunately, I had to stop due to injuries.) I've also road tripped across the US, sailed a tall ship in the Caribbean, and lived in Ecuador for a semester abroad, spending a month of that semester in the Amazon rainforest (which was amazing, and hot). Having a steady job has definitely reduced my ability to have long-term amazing adventures for the past several years, but I still travel and do fun stuff and I'm always looking to add to the list!
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good attitude, sense of humor, and an interest in meeting new people and getting to know new places. AND if I stay with you I can make you some darn good chocolate chip cookies, plus help out with chores or whatever else you could use a hand with.
Countries I’ve Visited
