About Me

I am happiest in a place where during the day I️ can museum hop in the midst of awesome nature and architecture, and bar hop at night. I️ enjoy cheap street food as much as I️ enjoy fine dining, and fancy cocktail bars as much as I️ enjoy sketchy night clubs. I prefer my every weekend as far as my brain can see to be booked full with something to do or somewhere new to go. I work as an environmental lab technician in a paper mill near Savannah GA, USA. I️ am content with my job and adore my beautiful little city.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To explore. To understand and see the world. To get more of a local feel for a place that a hotel room would miss. To meet like-minded people who have a similar sense of curiosity and adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books

A large variety of music. From deathcore/metalcore to indie to EDM to annoying ass pop music. A few that most make my heart swell are Manchester Orchestra, Conor Oberst, Josh Ritter, Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, Brand New, the Avett Brothers before they sold out, pre-2005 Taking Back Sunday, The Pixies, Foxy Shazam, Gogol Bordello, Father John Misty.

I️ don’t have time for many movies or reading, besides lots of published science for school. I️ do fall victim to answering Netflix’s “Are you still there” screen if I’m home alone with nothing to do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I️ love cooking and recipe sharing. Paleo baking is my go-to to fill a boring Sunday. I️ like the challenge of making foods accommodating someone with food allergies/intolerances taste just as good as the conventional version of the recipe. Everyone deserves to eat food that makes them happy.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I️’m really good at taking shots. PS at first it autocorrected to “shits,” so
