About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel and meet as many interesting people as possible along the way

ABOUT ME

I am a 29 year old wanderer. I have spent the last 8 years of my life trying to travel as much as possible, and am currently in the process of saving money to embark on a road trip through the US and Canada. I love to meet new people and am open to many different experiences. I also love tattoos, cooking & baking, reading and music.

PHILOSOPHY

Not all who wander are lost. The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am quite new to couchsurfing and am very excited to give it a try!

Interests

Traveling and tattoos are on the top of my list! I am also quite an avid home baker and I love to cook. I am obsessed with used bookstores and own more books than I'll probably ever be able to read.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of movies, comedy, drama...I'm really down for anything. Christoper Guest is a favorite director of mine....I'll buy you dinner if you can name at least 3 of his movies.

I am very open to music, I tend to like songs with great lyrics, and lately have been trying to broaden my musical horizon.

Don't get me started on books -- I tend to like memoirs, biographies, and travel books. I also love Paulo Coelho.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a year in Asia, and for part of that time I was teaching English in China. After completing my contract, I backpacked through China and did a ten day tour in Tibet. One of the highlights (besides seeing the Potala Palace in Lhasa), was spending a night at Mt. Everest Base Camp.

Teach, Learn, Share

If I can sleep on your couch, I'd love to do some baking or cooking for ya. I'm not a professional, but I love to share new ideas in the kitchen.
