ABOUT ME

I write fiction by morning and do freelance marketing consulting for nonprofits, educational institutions, and small business by afternoon.

I love interesting people and smart conversation, conceptual art, religious history, philosophy, good fiction, cycling and running and yoga, fashion, watching movies, staying up late with friends and going to dress-up parties, sewing and cooking and knitting and making things in general, riding trains, really comfy socks.

PHILOSOPHY

As Dr. Seuss wrote: "Today you are you, this is truer than true. There is no one alive who is Youer than You."

Music: All kinds, especially music you can dance to.

The first and most vivid image that popped into mind was seeing my nephew be born. It was like a miracle. Life is a freakish miracle, we just forget.
