About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Survive Egypts most recent revolution!

PHILOSOPHY

Don´t wait for the good times to come!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started being a part of the worldwide couchsurfing-community, but I surfed a few times in Egypt with a friend of mine and I have never been disappointed! I love this special kind of pre-selection of people that only includes those, who are trustful enough to host completely strange people in their own homes and also open minded enough to deal with a enormous variety of opinions.

Interests

I really love sports. When I´m not too occupied, I run a bunch of kilometers in a week or go somewhere by bike. I´m also a very good swimmer and love to dive and to discover beautiful underwater-landscapes (without equipment until now).
I´m also a pretty good writer, when it comes to political topics or when I write something about places I travelled to.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Mostly action- or adventure-movies, but sometimes, I also go for a good thriller.

Music: I am able to enjoy almost every kind of music, as long as it isn´t german rap (disregarding Marteria). Usually I just listen to it over headphones, because now, it´s mostly Death Metal und Dubstep and the regular neighbour isn'into it!

Books: I´m afraid i can´t list all the books I love, but the genres are mostly science-fiction, fantasy and adventure-stories, such as Moby Dick, Gulliver´s Journey etc. Recently I started to read a lot of scientific books about biology, astronomy, history, cultural anthropology and language research.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 12 or 13 years old, I saved my sister and a good friend of mine from drowning in a river next to our house, in which they fell with a big lawn-mower.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you how to read a book and ride a bicycle at once without having an accident!
