About Me

It's hard to describe the characteristics of a person in a little white text box but I can say that I'm an outgoing, happy, positive and adventurous person.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I heard of couchsurfing when I just began my gap year in Europe in Aug of 2008. The gap year turned out to be 2 years and I owe it all to the great people of couchsurfing! I have made many connections and friendships while traveling and learning. This project is amazing and truly the way the world SHOULD be! It's very inspiring to see how open and trusting people are. The best part of this is that here you find the good ones that are more than happy to open up their homes, lives and schedules to accommodate and host strangers from all over the world.

Through my gap year I found myself at home in Seville Spain and have returned to work here managing a hostel. I use my position in the hostel in order to contribute to the CS community and not as a competition to it. I believe that the two philosophies are very related and can work together hand in hand. We often host weekly meetings at the hostel and offer discounts to established CS members when they can not find a host. If I am available to host myself I will certainly do so, however it can be difficult based on my schedule. Request away and I will see what I can do.

If I can not host you nor can you find another host, you can get a 10% discount in the hostels I work at. Just put in the promo code CSER (cap letters) in the following hostels websites

If I can host you... Bring earplugs. I snore and it's a bachelor apartment. ;)

So far nothing but great people that have been gracious enough to host me during my travels. I love meeting local people and spending time in the true heart of LIVING culture. Although I have hosted when it was possible during my travels I very much look forward to the time when I can host CSers from all over the world in my own home (where ever that may be).

*Music is my passion! Every kind, every beat.
