About Me

My husband Tyler and I love to travel. I am a very positive, up-beat kind of person. I post a positive thought for the day every single day on my Facebook page. I find it helps to put more positive energy out there; the world is far too filled with negativity as it is. I smile and laugh a lot. I used to be shy when I was little but now I love to talk and meet new people. I find that we have more similarities than differences. We all belong to the same race--the human race. We have one cat, a little tortoise-shell female named Nelly, she is our princess.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Coldplay, Sting, Pink Martini, Ella Fitzgerald (Gosh, I'm all over the place on music I'm interested in!)...etc. If it's good, I'll listen. I don't really care for horror flicks, but I like just about every other kind of movie. Really enjoy comedies and romance. I just finished reading "My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She's Sorry" by Fredrik Backman. It was really delightful! I read a wide variety of genres. This was more of a kid's book, but really kind of a coming-of-age book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2015, my hubby & I took a trip Out West together. The most amazing thing we did was hiking up to see The Delicate Arch at Arches National Park, Moab, UT at sunrise. It was a strenuous hike, and we're not hikers, and we had to start in the dark, but we met another couple who had done the hike before, so we hiked together. It was exhilarating to watch the sun come up and see The Delicate Arch reveal itself to us in all its glory. Beautiful.
