About Me

My mother always said "once you left for the first time, you will always keep leaving". I was 15 when I first left my parents' home to fly around the world and live with another family, go to another school, experience a whole new country and culture. I am a lucky child and very privileged. Back home I started working to finance more travelling, to keep going. After finishing high school, I was gone again and together with my best friend I travelled through New Zealand, Thailand and South Africa. We lived with old friends, new friends, worked, experienced and had an awesome couple of months. Now I am back and started university, a whole new and exciting chapter of my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best way to experience a place is to live and talk with habitants. Couchsurfing looks like an awesome place to meet new friends, share good company and get useful tips and insights.
I also love hosting people and sharing my home with travellers. I am a proud bavarian xD

Music, Movies, and Books

I love jazz. Sometimes I am also into house, hip hop, electro swing or classical music. I can play a little bit of the guitar and love bonfire nights.
I'm a big lord of the rings fan (both movies and books).
It is hard to identify my favourite book. I read everyone and everything (almost). To name a few: Alice Munroe is amazing as well as F.S. Fitzgerald's short stories. I read the diary of Anne Frank various times. The book thief moves me every time. Yuval Noah Havari's books are some that everyone should read because they are just so damn good and important right now.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share some cooking time and/or dinners with you. I know some traditional German recipes that I love making and I love watching other people cook and learn new things in the kitchen.
We could share some music and conversations.
